SMMC reaffirms its commitment to a culture of excellence by raising awareness of the ISO standard among all its employees. This ambitious initiative aims to strengthen safety and risk prevention across all aspects of our operations.
An Informative Session for All Employees
All personnel from Operations, Security, Infrastructure, Maintenance, Fuel and Lubricant, and HSE are invited to an informative session on the ISO standard. This participation is mandatory, with the exception of personnel on duty. Managers and supervisors of UGMO contractors are also invited to join us for this important initiative.
Objectives of ISO Standard Awareness
- Integration for All: Ensure everyone’s safety by fully integrating quality culture into our daily practices.
- Risk Prevention: Pay close attention to potential hazards in the warehouse, equipping oneself with the appropriate PPE for chemical and physical risks.
- Understanding Pictograms: Learn to recognize safety pictograms and follow the hierarchy of protective measures.
- Standards Compliance: Adhere to standard PPE norms and use tools with caution, following the specific instructions for each work area.
- Constant Vigilance: Remain alert to hazards at all times, whether near elevators, during onboard work, or simply when handling tools.

SMMC réaffirme son engagement en faveur d’une culture d’excellence en sensibilisant l’ensemble de ses collaborateurs à la norme ISO. Cette initiative ambitieuse vise à renforcer la sécurité et la prévention des risques dans tous les aspects de nos activités.
Une session informative pour tous les collaborateurs
L’ensemble du personnel des services Exploitation, Sûreté, Infrastructure, Maintenance, Carburant et Lubrifiant ainsi que la HSE est convié à une session informative sur la norme ISO. Cette participation est obligatoire, à l’exception des personnels en service. Les gérants et les superviseurs des prestataires UGMO sont également invités à se joindre à nous pour cette initiative importante.
Objectifs de la sensibilisation à la norme ISO
- Intégration pour tous: Garantir la sécurité de chacun en intégrant pleinement la culture qualité dans nos pratiques quotidiennes.
- Prévention des risques: Porter une attention particulière aux dangers potentiels dans l’entrepôt, en s’équipant des EPI adaptés aux risques chimiques et physiques.
- Compréhension des pictogrammes: Apprendre à reconnaître les pictogrammes de sécurité et suivre la hiérarchie des mesures de protection.
- Respect des normes: Respecter les normes standard pour les EPI et utiliser les outils avec prudence, en suivant les consignes spécifiques à chaque zone de travail.
- Vigilance constante: Rester attentifs aux dangers à tout moment, que ce soit près des élévateurs, lors de travaux à bord ou simplement en manipulant des outils.
